Delete your Hellow account

You can delete your Hellow account and its data at any time. You don't need to sign in to this page.

In the app

Open Hellow and go to Profile › Settings › Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

Want a copy of your data first? Use Profile › Settings › Export my data.

Without the app

Email [[PLACEHOLDER: PRIVACY_CONTACT_EMAIL]] from the address you use for Hellow and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to confirm it is you, and we answer within one month.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in details
• Your profile, its photos and any profile requests
• Your share links, which stop working within a minute
• The contacts people shared with you, with their consent records
• Your notes, follow-ups and reminders
• Your share history, meeting context and card activity
• Reports other people made about your card

What may be kept, and for how long

• Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for up to [[PLACEHOLDER: BACKUP_RETENTION_DAYS]] days, then it is overwritten.
• Copies saved outside Hellow are not affected, for example your contact card saved on someone's phone.
